Howdy fishhead#1 -I'm Roseburg based as well and wanting to learn the yaking grounds around the area.  I floated the North Umpqua last month (non fishing) as saw a dozen steelhead or so in the water.  I fished Gailsville Res. this spring (45 min drive) and limitted out daily for a week on those tastey little Coho they plant in there.  Trolled flys and trolled a small hotshot.  Folks other folks on the water were doing average to poor.  I'm sold on the Mirage drive system.  Doesn't scare the fish like a trolling motor.  I'm fishing out of a Hobie Outback.  I'll be monitoring responses to your query hoping to learn.
