WR (Wanderingrichard) and I are going to meet HuntinHick out at the Gronovold Park/Pier in Hoodsport for some pink fishing for  a 330ish pm Launch Time.   All is welcome to join us.

Maybe we can push some of the PBr's out of the area.

This will be the last time WR can get his line wet before leaving Wed for Hawaii for a month.

Any questions PM me or WR

:sunny:  [heh, andy bra, she not know aquahunters in hawaii. i get fishing easy there. ]

seriously tho. it's going to be a late afternoon fishery on the canal, taking advantage of the tide change. yes we could go shorter to commencement bay and fish with Em7b5 near shore,(i'm pretty sure he'd really appreciate the company) but there is way less large boat traffic over there and the under current isnt as bad. for beginners w/o peddles, this will work just fine.

so, like she said, and huntinhick did too when on the phone, the more the merrier.

just remember to dress for the heat, bring pleny water, etc.

oh, and, andy, for me it's a 6 / 10 work week with a 2 hour commute each way due to congestion on the H1, H3, & LikeLike interchanges..seems "zipper lanes" don't work as well as they thought. i only get sunday off. thats gonna make it tough to maximize the tme for fishing.

Sounds like you're working windward side?  I can't deduce where you're staying.  Hawaii Kai?  If so, get out for paddles on the bay.  And eat lots of Zippy's for me.  And garlic chicken from Mitsuken.

Makaha Sons have been killing their sets at the Outrigger Canoe Club.  Go check 'em out.  Hit the buffet upstairs, too.

Worst.  Commute.  Ever.  Maybe they'll lend you a Stryker.  That'll ease your traffic woes.  Sounds like you're well set up, though.  Troy Fernandez, arguably the world's greatest ukulele player, has been doing some street gigs in Waikiki.  Look for him; it's worth your time.  I wanna say that he was close to International Marketplace for a while.

List of additional restaurants you should hit:

Golden Duck (Chinese - get the wun tun min)
Yamagen (Japanese - get beef udon)
Gazen (Izikaya - all good)
Nico's Pier 38 (everything by an ex-pat French chef - go for breakfast)
Karyn's (Okazuya/deli)
Rainbow Drive In (ubiquitous plate lunch joint - teri ahi steak and rice)
Byron's Drive Inn (same as above, but next to airport)
