By hauling my kayak to work everyday on my truck rack this summer, I have successfully spawned an ever increasing interest in kayak fishing.   :o

- Last Wednesday evening a co worker called and said he ordered two Cobra Fish N Dive's.
- Last Thursday another co worker and I drove up to Auburn Washington to pick up a T13 and Peekaboo from
   NWPaddler.
-Got into work Saturday night and my dayshift counterpart was browsing the kayaks online.  He's looking
SERIOUSLY at the Malibu Pro2 Tandem for him and his wife to share.
-Another co worker is SERIOUSLY looking at picking up two T13 kayaks for him and his girlfriend.

I wish there was a KFSPOTY (Kayak Fishing Sales Pitch Of The Year) competition going on.  I'd probably do better than my actual fishing skills.   ;D

No joke!  I can't believe how much time I spend at launches answering questions.  I need business cards for NWKA on hand just to make it easier than writing on scrap paper!

I agree! we do need some cards....I am forever talking to folks at the Port with Yaks on Rigs. It would be nice to have some cards to hand out.
What say Ye Admin? Would Zee be willing to work up some Graphics we could download/print out?
If not...would Y'all mind if we did our own? Though it would be nice to have them all the same.

I feel the same way!
I think that would be a good idea to look into. Maybe something that we could buy in sets of ten... or something we could print off at home... Any other ideas?

Many home printers will print on card stock.  Just create a WORD doc with a grid of cards and we can print our own.

Something that drove a lot of traffic and folks to the Pacific Northwest Flying Forum was posting tear-off sheets with:

Pacific Northwest Flying
http://www.pacificnorthwestflying.com/

We posted the sheets in pilots lounges and bulletin boards all over WA, OR, and ID.

I am not sure where one would post NWKA tear-off sheets, but there must be spots/posts around most boat launches.  In big letters at the top: "KAYAKERS".

I could just tape them to my kayak at work.  Enough people walk by it in the parking garage in a day, I'm sure interests will continue to perk.  ;D

Thats awesome work.  I don't haul my yak to work regularly, in fact, only once before heading out of town to use it.   It is quite the talk when I pull into the bar though. I point out the rod holders, rod pod, sonar shield and the guys start thinking that its the coolest thing they've ever seen.  I should start keeping some pictures stored on my Zune to show they actually work...
