Eel Lake, OR

Hello all,

I'm taking the family down to Eel Lake for vacation next week. I could use some advice on tackle and gear to use on this lake. Fly fishing, Spinning, Float? Lures or bait that works well? Locations on the Lake to try? I have a float tube so I am somewhat mobile. (new Kayak is on the wish list)

I REALLY appreciate any advice. Thank you.

   Eel Lake,, Trout bite early and late,, fish are deep in this lake like 20 to 35 ft.. mid day,,,     Fish where you see them on top in low lite,, cast to rises,.. Main bass food is crawdad so there deep to.
  At the fishing dock there are some really smart Largemouth, a whole nite crawler with no weight will get one .. In front of launch ramp, half way to the point seems to be a good place for trout, but people catch them off the dock there to.
   Really nice peaceful lake, no wake or 5 mph rule..
Most  any small lure, just get in front of one,,  Royg

(I tried a forum search and with EEL in the string you get every post with, steel, wheel, etc...and LAKE...forget about it.)

I'm really digging that Hobbie coosbayyaker is using. He appears to be a stout individual like myself, so I'm guessing it's roomy enough and stable.
