Hello Everyone-Looks like I'm going to be spending a lot more time in the Hood River area and I can't wait to check out the fishing here.
I've been kayak fishing for a few years now, mostly in the Pacific Ocean, but I like to try new spots. I haven't seen any SOT fishermen around here even though I've seen some spots that look perfect for kayak fishing.
Anyway, I can't wait to get my gear up here and get back in the water. Hopefully, I can meet some of you and we can have some fun. Check out the kayak fishing stuff in my sig, hopefully I'll be adding some PacNW adventures soon.

Welcome Ron!  There are a number of us down in the Portland and Willamette Valley area.  I'm sure you will be able to  hook up with some of them sooner or later.

Also check out the upcoming John Day River float trip ... http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/bb/index.php?topic=225.0.

Welcome Ron!

Man, that PDX area is becoming quite the hotspot. Too bad I live ~7 hours away;there's plenty of places in your region that I'd like to check out.
