got skunked - i didnt bring any trolling gear, just jigging  - i expected to see large schools, but i didnt - i'm beginning to think this spot isnt all that good - i have hit it 5 weekends in a row now, with the exception of last and only had one 7 fish day, all the rest were zero's

i don't mind working hard for certain fish - but the blessing of humpies is you shouldnt have to work hard

i'll go bang a few in the river on foot tomorrow to make up for it

i actually saw the least amount of fish this time, compared to all my other outings

i ended up paddling way too much trying to find schools - i realize now this was a big misktake

time to find a new spot...

You might want to come a bit south to Picnic Point or Edmonds.  Once you get south of Whidbey Island I assume you will be seeing fish coming down Admiralty Inlet and headed for all points south rather than just fish that have turned the corner and headed north for the Snohomish and Stillaguamish rivers.
