Hey guys I just wanted to see what all everyone in Canada thats on here did for their long weekends?Hopefully you were able to escape the nagging wife and all the tasks she had for you...Did anyone get out fishing? I know down south(Van) got alot of rain...I dont know about wind but Im hearing there was some big drops and alot...
We had great weather which is rare here...Linz and I made it out one day for a tide change at the Masset Inlet mouth...During low slack I caught a nice Ling cod(8 lbs) and two small salmon...Linz caught a 15 lb Halibut and 2 ling cod...I had something bigger on when the tide changed and I trolled back to the truck...I only felt the bend for a couple of seconds but it bent the heavy action rod I was using more than most fish do...One head shake and it was gone...But a good day all and all..
Then I got a call from my work partner and he sucked me into working today....AARRRGGHH I so wanted to get out again today and pound the water.... Double time for the stat though so what can yah say eh?
