The Oregon Rockfish Classic 2009 (Version 3.0)
Location: Big Creek Reservoir #2
Date: September 12th
Format: Heaviest single fish regardless of species
Entry Fee: $30
* Signups are open on the right banner of the home page.
* All entrants need to complete a release form to compete. Release forms will be sent out after entry fee is paid. Sign and bring to tournament venue. Tournament official must have release form before contestant launches to be eligible.
* All entrants will receive a Hobie captain's bag w/ Hobie swag including a 50% off coupon for Hobie polarized sunglasses. Each bag also includes one raffle ticket.
* Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $5 each with all proceeds going to the CCA. Non tournament entrants (ie family, friends) can buy them as well.

Second: Paddle from Outdoor Play
Third:    Kokatat Bahia Tour PFD

Check-in will be at Beverly Beach campsite HQ space A1 on Friday PM or at Big Creek Reservoir #2 launch Sat. 5AM (map below). Check-in closes at 7AM Sat.. All contestants must launch and land at lake check-in area. No toting kayaks to any other bodies of water. For CNR bass fishermen, on the water weigh in's will be available from 7AM-1PM. Bring a VHF radio and hail on channel 69. Tourney officials will be at launch site for weigh ins starting at 1PM. Tourney will end at 3:30 PM. Late fishermen's catch will not be weighed or counted toward tournament. Afterwards, at HQ there will be prizes and potluck.

**UPDATE**
Unfortunately Polepole will not be showing up for the event so I'll be the sole event staffer. CNR will still be available at the times listed above but not as speedy. If you are going to need an on the water weigh in we'll most likely have to meet up somewhere on the lake.

Please Clarify : Are you saying this is you being at the launch site between 5 & 7 am for people to sign up. OR are you saying it's a mandatory launch time of 5 AM?

I would like donate $5 to CCA for every person who gets a fish weighed on the water.

(Fish must be released and ALIVE after weight is recorded and the fish must be of legal retention size)

 you can launch whenever you want. Check in is friday night at HQ or reservoir from 5-7.

What time to do you want to roll from camp?  I have to drive down from Lincoln City (Devils Lake), but I'll fish early if you like.  If nobody needs a kayak to borrow, I'll be taking my wifes kayak off the truck so I'll have room for sure to load ya.
