PDX Crew Monthly Meet Ups

Wow! Fourteen showed up tonight.
Famous Dave's did an awesome job and the BBQ was super. What a great time. Hope to fish and crab with several NWKA'ers (wackers?) over the coming weeks.

Looks like Ndogg may be setting up a crabbing outing next Thursday.  Speaking of Next, Next Adventure is planning monthly yak fishing outings possibly starting in December with a Sturgeon event.

If you haven't checked out "Is it local" (Portlandia on YouTube) it's a hoot. We need a mascot like Colin the organic chicken, maybe Seymour the fermented Willamette sturgeon.

It was a good time and cool to put faces and "aka's" with some names. A lot of great information and many plans for future events. Thanks to all.

Anyone up for the 4th or 5th next week for a meet-up?  I'd like to cast my vote for somewhere closer in to Portland this time.  Blitz Ladd maybe.

I'm up for the 5th. Lots of new folks on the forum, hope to meet them.

I agree about doing it in downtown PDX.  It is more centrally located.  It is also quite a bit closer for those that may want to come up from Salem.  Blitz Ladd is at 2239 Southeast 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214.  It is 1 mile from NA's Paddle ports Center. 

I can make the 5th, but the 4th is my daughter's third birthday, so that is out.

Went to Pacific Sporting Goods in Camas yesterday. Steelhead "good" in Cowlitz, Lewis and Washougal. Bought some tackle and bait, tied leaders last night. May hit the mouth of the Washougal and Camas Slough area tomorrow. Anyone interested?

Actually, the Lucky Lab in Multonomah Village might be a good place too, especially for anyone coming up from the Salem area.  7675 Southwest Capitol Highway, Portland, OR. I could make that location on either the 4th or 5th.

Has anyone decided on a location for this Thursday's meetup?  I can't do Wednesday as it is the Portland Chapter CCA meeting.

I'm good with Thursday too.  I like the Lucky Lab in SE or Multnomah as previously mentioned, or Blitz Ladd in SE.

Let's do the Blitz Ladd since it's more central. See you all at 6ish on Thursday night. Who's coming?
