It is NEVER too early to start planning...

Yes, I will be going in 2010.    

Talked to my brother, and trying to get him and his soon to be 18 year old son, to come along and get away from work for a week or two.  Looking positive.

So Allen, first two weeks of August in Ketchikan?

Zee you gonna be able to make it, we need some Hobie's up there to represent.   

Getting flack from Hobie rep for all the great pictures of me in a an OK and a WS!    

I tell him if he gets me a Hobie up there, I would prefer to use it, but you gotta fish with the kayak you have, not the kayak you want!

I know a stream that has some decent pinks left at the mouth.  But yes, fill 'er up with silvers and butts.  That shouldn't be a problem .. the only problem is getting ice out there to keep them fresh.

I was thinking about that...  Wonder if they have Dry Ice in Ketchikan...  I know the Safeway in Valdez did.

Gonna have to raft my heavy cooler out there I take it...

Yes, they do have dry ice in Ketchikan.  And the islands we stay on didn't have any bear sign last year.  There may be a way ...
