Anyone fish Lake Mayfield. Going to try for some Trout / Yellow Perch over Thanksgiving weekend.

Welcome Hendog!
Mayfield Lake...only a couple of times, and not for many years. If I'm up that way, I'm usually planning to float the Cowlitz. I've fished Riffe Lake and Swofford Pond a couple of times, too. I like Swofford. Fun little year-round lake for LM bass, bluegill, trout, and catfish. I've only fished it in the Summer for bass and bluegill, but I hit Riffe one Nov and the trout were biting. If I lived closer, I'd fish there much more often.
Can't make it, though. I'll be at a family gathering up in Sequim on T-day.

Howdy, Hendog.

I've never fished Mayfield, but if I ever do, it will probably be for tiger muskies. My guess is that it's probably too late in the year, for them, now.
