Pisco Sicko joined me Saturday for what turned out to be an epic afternoon of smallie fishing. Bill got the biggest of the day, a fat 19.5 incher. I tried to keep a running count of the fish we C & R'd but lost track early on. Shown below are a few photos of the action.

That's some awesome SMB Pisco Sicko.

Is it just me, or do some of them pictures look like a younger Bill Murray fishing in the boat.  :o

It's not just you, but doesn't he really look more like the current version of Bill Murray?  :laughing7:

I'm thinking Caddyshack Billl Murray.  ;D

I think the super mods should change his name from Pisco Sicko to Bill Murray.  :wav:

That's it I'm taking a day off from Springer fishing and going bass fishing.  That's my biggest problem with Spring Chinook is they run right in the heart of prespawn bass fishing.  Good job guys.

I thought I just now got caught up in a remake of "Groundhog Day!"  Pics of Pisco Murray catching and releasing smallies over and over and over again, never ending. And checking each new "reply" to the thread only to find just more pictures of Pisco Murray grinnin' like a skunk and holding up yet another smallie.

The resemblance is amazing!

Dang! Strong work there!

I'm hoping to stumble into that kind of a vortex one of these days!

Where's your PFD Pisco?   ;)

Nice work boys!  Looks like great day with perfect conditions.

Still looking for that 24" SMB Nog?

Epic it was.

YN got into them, too, in fact sooner than I did. I whiffed on the first four hookups. Too many of my flies were de-barbed for fishing the Methow. These smallies were head-shaking fools. Here's some of the shots I took.
