Cable and Crimp tubes. So much fun

I started making my own fishing spinners about a year ago, and thought why cant i make my own trolling Jigs?? so i did. With a roll of 60LB/80LB cable and a few crimp tubes, you can have a lot of fun. I buy most my stuff from http://www.barlowstackle.com/ .  You can make a whole set up for under 3$ if you buy in bulk compared to 9$ elsewhere. They also sell a lot of hard to find Lead Melting stuff. Ive also found the cable makes great tool/gear/Rod Leashes you can add what ever connector you want, what ever size and make it what ever length.

I would not advise using a leash material that you cannot cut easily through if ya get tangled in it.  However, if it is kept short it may not matter what it's made of.

Cool trolling gear. I take quite a few people out with me and typically they borrow my gear, then, inevitably they lose my gear  I will have to give that a go. I make my own spinners and have quite a few parts laying around!

I started out making spinners too then started doing the trolling rigs. there alot of fun to make, or if you find old spinners with rusty hooks or a busted trolling rig, you can make new ones. i also made one with just two loops, and when i go into a store with my fishing rods in the back i l string it thru the eyes of my rods and lock them to the truck. the possibility's are endless.
