Don't know anything about it but I have a GTS Elite and dream about the GTS Expedition all the time. The GTS Elite is a little more than $110, at around $150. It's insanely comfortable on the back but the butt still isn't enough for me.

James,
it's like the old parable of the blind men and the elephant; each will give you a different description.

i know we have one or two here who use it, hoping they will chime in.

As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

No experience with that particular seat on the water, but I sat in it while in Joes a couple years ago... you can do better for $100.

ACK has some cool seats with some thick padding you may want to check out:

One of these will be my next seat:

For me at least, I could care less about padding on the backrest. It's the under-butt padding that affects my time OTW! Still searching for the ideal butt padding...

I use the Comfort Deluxe.  Feels good to me, but I don't have a lot to compare against.

I will say that I've tried a Crack Of Dawn seat pad and it's oh so buttalicious.  Wish I had one.  I do have a Skwoosh Gel Cushion.  I don't think it fits my butt right.

Yea my back has been OK, I'm a roofer so it always hurts. But it seems like a few hrs on the water and I'm wishing i had a pillow to sit on. I think my wife has a aunt that's good with a sewing machine, i might need to give her a project.

As you can see in my Avatar, I stuck on a Surf to Summit seat pad.  This is just one big sticker and has held tight for over a year now.  Adds just the right amount of butt padding under normal kayak seats.

Looks like they have the black one on sale.

I bought a chunk of 3" thick close celled foam and custom carved my own seat bottom.  It was very comfortable and I could sit for hours.  It gave very nice thigh support as well.  Unfortunately, it went missing after sturgeon fishing on New Years day :-[ .  Ever since, when I go kayaking, I develop a case of assritis.

:-)  I know that feeling.  Actually that Crack Of Dawn seat pad looks pretty nice.  Reminds me of my Thermarest sleeping bag pad.

I can say that the yakgrips on yakpads are awesome, just put them on wet like the directions say or they'll rip. Don't ask me how I know.

Same boat I have.  The Grande seat cushion fits just about perfect.

You can see in this picture how it fits my T13. Just line it up to the front edge of the seat scupper holes and stick'r down!
