I will be hanging out at the coast for a few days.  Hope to fish as much as I can.  Forecast looks good so I will be hitting the surf early Friday AM.  Anyone else headed west for the weekend?

I'm flipping a coin tomorrow if it's heads I'll be at PC 5:30am Saturday morning if it's tails I'll be at Hagg Lake.  Actually the deciding factor will be whether I wanna throw on my wet suit or just shorts and a tee lol.
It's never too late to start procrastinating.

Fished yesterday and today. Ocean was prime..  Skipped PC for some of my "Other 8)" saltwater haunts. Fished some water that rarely sees any pressure and needles to say... Fishing has been awesome!  Quality lings, all the black rocks you would want and even a decent cabbie or two.   Sorry no pics as the wife has the camera on a trip.

I do need a new cart, my home built monster is hell for stout but is just to heavy and awkward.   What do I need for launching an adventure over mostly sand and sometimes cobble?   I need something that won't fall apart after 30yards of beach cobble...

I like paddleboy carts...the large air, but I don't regularly use them other than hauling rentals to the water. There's probably some better recomendation out there from personal experience.

+1 Wheeleez!  They literally float on sand.

Wow!  The prices have gone up since I got mine right after our long pedal/walk up to the south wall at CL.

I paid $175 for the big wheels. LOVE 'EM!

Same place now has them for $194.  :-\

BTW, the Wheeleez cart does not like the Cobra FnD hull.  We tried it at Depoe bay on DTS's Cobra.  The damn keel hits the cart in the center, and it won't stay put long enough to get the straps on, so you may be better off getting the Hobie Trax cart with the fat wheels for your Adventure.  Keep your BIG HOSS cart for the FnD.

Hit PC today, ocean was flat, I was able to use 1.5 oz jigs until about 10am.  Rockfish, rockfish, rockfish, dead fishfinder, rockfish, rockfish, greenling, rockfish.  Caught one underling, and one small cabbie.

I'm not complaining.

Wheeleez brother. It seems steep at first but after about 12 trips or so over a few types of terrain you'll wonder why you didn't buy them from the get go.
