I'm  planning on being at the DB ramp ~8:30 Sunday morning (6/27), but would change to Saturday (6/26) if anyone wants to meet up. Lemme know...

I didn't see Wannabe's post until late Friday night or I would have posted up. I wanted to see if the master fishermen from the ORC left anything behind for the pickers like me, so I was solo out of DB Saturday. Picked up 3 blacks 16-19 in front of the timeshares all on the shrimp fly, shook 3 UL's  off the hook.

Met up w/Wannabe Sunday on the ramp. We took a left out of the hole and went looking for the "ling ditch" down Whale Cove way. Never found it. Picked up 3 more blacks same size same menu. So far boring report but...

Mike should get a little round of applause for a valiant fight against a sea monster of unknown proportions. He gained a little at first, then whatever it was realized it was hooked and ran a few hundred yards north and just laid down. Then it seems the beast achieved a line wrap on the rocks. I came and felt the line, it was still on there, but it was anchored. For a 30 minute stalemate it was good action!

Had a great time at ORC, thanks everybody, and thanks for leaving a few behind.
