We had a baby this past year so getting out to yak has been tough. I am dying to get out and fish.  :-\

I have heard fish tales about Possession Bar (Possession Sound) being really good right now. Has anyone camped at the Possession State Park water trial site?

I have never fished there. Is anyone interested in fishing off Possession Point?
If you can't take the heat...then get out with your yak.

Congrats on the baby! Po Bar works well for Chinook as long as you're using a downrigger. The tide is washing perpendicular to the bar so mooching will send you right into the shallows. For Coho etc. that swim shallow it's great for sliding sinker setups. That campsite looks like a whole lot of fun. Should make a great HQ if you plan to spend the night.

Thank you.

The info is helpful.  I haven't set up a down rigger yet so it looks like I am fishing shallow. I am finishing up a sail and a nice resin outrigger system.  After those I will get the downrigger installed.
