Inside Elliott Bay has been open for kings for a while, on a Fri-Mon schedule. I think this weekend is the last weekend for that, though. But I'm over on the east side of the state, so I haven't been involved in that fishery.

I will be on Whidbey Island this coming weekend, with family, and there have been excellent reports for pinks and coho for several weeks now. Even fishing from the beach, on the west side, has been good.

Are you headed back up to Moutcha, in this "couple weeks"?

That's one of the only places you can catch Chinook wether it's wild or hatchery right now so that's why it's so full. I tried the other day and it's a total zoo. IMO not the place you want to be on your yak. Another member, MattK, hooked up a 25lb Chinook so just shows that there's a way to weave through the traffic and pull of a nice catch! 8)
