Went out on Sunday for most of the day. CJ is a great lake with small mouth, large mouth, big trout, Crappie, Bluegill, catfish and the list goes on. Love the lake for a yak, but me being the only yakker that I know of down here, I get alot of attention. The fishing is great, probably caught 100 smallies, and 40 crappies, some trout and a few perch. Would love some company if any of you want to join me. Also Lake Lowell is minutes from my house and the largemouth bit is hot right now. I will post more photos in the future.

I live out between Marsing and Homedale, so I am fairly close to Lake Lowell and wouldn't mind fishing it this year.  I have fished C.J. Strike quite a bit out of a bassboat and plan on fishing it in the kayak this year.  I'm thinking about hitting Crane Falls Reservoir (off the Snake arm of Strike) this month as a shake down cruise for my kayak.

I am planning on getting my Idaho out of state liscense this year, and will most likely be all over the state over summer.  I may just have to make a southern ID trip to check  it out.
When in doubt, throw a line out!

I am going to try to hit CJ Strike the last week of April. I will try to post a report with pics. Hopefully the crappie will be biting.
