Saw this on the KFS board and thought it might be motivation to sign up for the Everett Derby in Sept

Right on.  TheRiddler logged in here a year ago spring.  We took him out to Deception to target lings.  Nice guy.  Good for him showing everyone how it's done.

I guess it's time to start planning what we want to do for the Everett Coho derby.  Anyone have any suggestions on camp spots.  I'm looked around a bit and not sure there is a good place to camp and fish from.  There's a few spots on Whidbey.  Then there's kayak point, which seems fitting, although I'm not all that familiar with coho fishing around there.

Is Kayak Point a little north of Marysville? I have in-laws (that I actually like) near there ;D I'll see if I can get the skinny.

I can tell you from, from recent painful experience,  ::), that the beach access trail is closed, at S Whidbey State Park. Still close to Bush Pt.
