Met up with the south sound boyz for some jigging today. The schools were pretty sparse from the get go and we all had to work just to find some schools. IslandSon got one on but heard he lost it at the yak. There were 5-6 PB'rs and 3 chinook were boated since we got out there (4 hours). Not exactly hot. It went cold for an hour after so went to another hole when I saw a school starting to appear on the FF. I followed until it was it's biggest and dropped the jig. Two jigs after it hit the bottom it got heavy and progressively the head shakes got bigger. Before long this little chinook got pissed off and was a runnin'. A great fight from what turned out to be a 15# hen. Netted and after a few hero pics from Pixster called it a day. It was great to meet everyone there and had a good time seeing so many yaks on the water going after fish.

ZIng!!  How was the wind down there??  It was smokin' on the east side of Vashon, all day whitecaps.

Was a great time today. Wish the kings were a little thicker, but brought home my grandma's request for a pile of sole. For those interested, I'll be in the same spot 0'dark 30 next Fri morn.

Great to fish with you all, and hope to do it again soon!!

Nice!  I was tossing around the idea of ----- but went to Pt D instead.  Guess I chose wrong.  Excellent job on the fish!

Nice fish, Zee! Man that looks balmy out there! Thanks for the shots, Pixster. I haven't even fished for salmon yet this year. I'm still waiting for the kings to show up in the Bay here. I might go give it a try near the end of this week.
Wednesday I'm paddling up some tidal creek in search of searun cutts.

I learned two things yesterday.  That I'm going to need more patience jigging those darts, and that I really have to get a better FF.

It was good to meet all you guys.

If you see an orange pixel waaaaay in the background of the pics, that would be me! I didn't know you all were out or I would have decided to make the paddle over there! I had no luck on Cole or Lyle Points. Did have some monster 7+" dungies though!  The water was amazingly flat yesterday too.

I had to pull of a 9-day in a row stint at work just to pull off fri-saturday off for my annual Anderson Island trip. Had to negotiate terms of my time off way too long and it was almost an 11th hour affair just to get away.
