I hopeing join anybody that is heading out to the south sound this weekend (Aug 21 or 22). I'm basically a newbie to salmon fishing in the sound and would like to learn some skills. My ride is a Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 and I have most of the gear needed. So if you don't mind me tagging along.

Gig Harbor is pretty good right now---caught 2 18# kings yesterday.  Troll from harbor mouth down to the "lone" little cottage and back.  35 feet down, Coho Killers with green, or the White Lightning, are good.
