demonicks review of the HX 850 series handhelds got me thinking.. Since I'm kind of multi tasking challenged, meaning i cant' fish, paddle and use the hand held at the same time, what if i suggest to the MFR that they make a Blue Tooth enabled radio??

So, i emailed them  ::) This is what i got back;

Thank you for contacting Standard Horizon.

The HX760S is our Bluetooth model which is supplied with a water
resistant headset. If you need a waterproof headset you would have to
contact another company http://www.cellphoneshop.net/xii.html and use
their headset on the HX760S.

Best regards,

Scott Iverson

The HX760S has blue tooth capabilities, but it's not DSC like the HX850.

There's not much multi-tasking unless you are actively communicating over the radio.  Basically, it is just clipped to your PFD monitoring Channel 16 or turned off for emergency use only.
