I'm planning on fishing Saturday and Sunday (although Sat. wind forcast looks a little sucky) I'll be staying in Albany and driving over so PC or Depoe Bay seem the most likely candidates but would go somewhere else if somebody felt adventurous.

I'll have to keep an eye on the forecast. I thought about just paddling around Hagg Lake early but the ocean sounds much better...

I'd be all over it but have a funeral on Saturday and going to see Wille Nelson on Sunday.  Hope next weeks forecast is mellow!

You'd be hard pressed to come across a harder living, harder fishing and harder drinking, genuine SOB than was my Uncle Don. Pic is from the Wilson river behind his house (fish might be a tad dark for my taste these days but as he used to say "its a head and a tail").  More than once I sat in the cold early morning light waiting for the first salmon of the day, while Uncle Don smoked unfiltered cigerettes, drank gin straight from the bottle and gave me one heck of an education 8).

Wille's just a singer, Uncle Don was a hell of a guy!

Sorry major thread jack ::)

We had a great day out of Depoe Bay yesterday afternoon.  Took 37, 34 & 24" lings, a black and a greenling in 2 hours.

Good luck wherever you go.  My truck sprung a leak so I'll be the Bondo King this weekend.
