Looking at the ODFW report today and the entire coast is currently open for clamming. There is a good set of minus tides the first weekend in November. They're after dark, so it's going to be flashlight/lantern digging.

Does anyone (have any interest or) know of a coastal lake where we could maybe have a MBF panfish paddle battle during the day and dig some razors on a nearby beach at the evening low tide?

I did a little research and thought maybe Cullaby Lake would be a good venue for the fishing (but I've never fished there), and I usually like to go to Sunset Beach to clam because you can drive out on the beach and find an area where you're not elbow to elbow.

I wouldn't think that securing campground reservations should be too difficult this time of year, and there are lots of options around the area.

If somebody has another/better plan I'd love to hear it.

Is anybody game for a get together of this type?

thanks,

I'll be digging up at Fort Stevens that weekend.  We reserved a yurt awhile back.
