that was just the silly software that comes with the playsport.  works pretty well for stitching the video, but i had to move to After Effects to get the music/audio to do what i wanted.

That program is the lamest thing about the whole playsport camera..actually the only lame thing about it for that price range camera. And there getting way cheaper too!

Not only is it hard to use, mine seems to have lost the QTCF.DLL file and it and putting a new one in there doesn't fix it. Re-installing the propgram doesn't work either..at least the three times i tried it.
See ya on the water..

Great video, Thanks for Sharing....

I am new to the NW and have a few questions. I do not want to take someones' honey hole but. How far out do you paddle from the channel? Also what water depth, bottom contours, do you find Lings in? Do you look for moving current, in-coming, out-going tides? Or is it just a good weather, hope the fish are biting thing? Any in put would be helpful...

I've caught nice-sized lings along the coast in anywhere from 30 to over 90 feet.  For Depoe Bay specifically, there are plenty of places within a mile paddle from exiting the channel that will hold lings.  IMO tides and currents don't really come into play much or not that I have noticed at least.  This time of year if you can find a window to get out to the ocean, it doesn't matter what the tides are doing, take it.  The main idea is that lings seem to like structure.  Dropoffs, pinnacles, reefs, or even just a rough bottom.  If you're not getting hung up and loosing gear, you may not be in the right spot.   ;D

yeah, that... we kept within a mile of Depoe (about 1hr with the way wind was last week!).  I think lingbanger fished in as little as 15'

There are only four words you need to remember while ling fishing or looking for potential spots to fish,  "Abrupt Changes In Depth".  You can find lings on many different bottom types (especially small males), but if you concentrate on areas with abrupt changes in depth you will be well on you way to being a consistant and successful ling fishermen.

I piggybacked on CBY's report, I didn't know you were going to start a fresh thread.
