Hurray!  8)

I'm guessing they're going to take over the old CompUSA store? Maybe Circuit City?

Gooo Fisherman's!! Awesome store and glad to hear they're not shying away from the big stores trying to horn in. Funny, the big stores come in and don't cater to that locale. The steelhead and salmon selection at Cabelas is pretty horrible.

Wouldn't mind seeing Fisherman's move north of the border either. Other than OE our shops bite!

Heard more about this today... they're also going to be putting in a store in Gresham, and somewhere on the west side, most likely off Hwy 26...

I never would have thought that one player dropping out of the market (Joe's) would have spurred such a massive war for our sporting good dollars. There's no way that all the new players can survive in the long term. Especially with all the specialty stores in town. It will be interesting to watch. I'm with Zee, Go Fisherman's Marine GO!

I just dropped into the new Tigard Fisherman's today.   Nice layout, actually better than their P-Town store.
Probably 90% stocked, and they have a lot of stuff!  Not much in the kayak world, but fishing is covered.

Much closer drive for me too.

Nice move Fisherman's.

BTW - for those that don't know where this one is located, it is right across the street from Beaverton Honda-Yamaha on SW Cascade Ave.

Dude?!  What time were you there?  I was there from around noon until.... until.... umm.... Yeah, time sort of disappears or something when I walk into a store like that, so I'm not sure.   :D

I'll agree.  Nice location and nice store.  That will be my go-to place from now on.

I shit you not, when I got back in the SUV and started it up the clock just clicked over to noon.  We shot over to the mall for lunch and to Dick's to waste some bonus point cash.   Talk about just missing ya, you could probably still smell the ripper I left in the lobby as I left.   >:D

That explains the hazmat crew that showed up as I was getting there.   :D

What's funnier, is that I pulled out my phone one or two times about to text ya about something, then thought you probably already saw it, so I put it back in my pocket.  Little did I know you were on your way there.

Rawk, did you see the big painted lead squid shaped bodied, soft tentacle jigs with the big treble hook?   I didn't see what oz they were but I'd venture to guess they were 8-12 oz. They were in the Halibut rigging section on the bottom fish isle.

Must have missed those.  I walked though that isle a few times.  Looks like I have another reason to swing by soon!   :)

They are prepackaged and hanging on the isle completely opposite end from the curly tail grub selection.
Right behind ya if you are looking at the lead squid are the various lead jig heads.  Everything all the way up to 24oz.

Did ya see the painted/coated triangle fish head jig heads?  They even had contrasting eyes on them.

Yup.  I really like using those, they're just a bit pricey.  Those used to be all I would use down in SoCal.
