Jigging Area 10 - Ballard today

Anyone been out in Area 10 as of late?  I was thinking of heading out this afternoon to try some jigging for salmon.  I had the chance to meet the guy that invented the Crippled Herring jig over the holidays and he gave me one of his new jigs called The Kandlefish.  Dying to give it a try for blackmouth.

Where are those candlefish available???   I'd love to give them a shot in area 11.

From what I've been hearing Jeff Head and San Juan channel have been the places to be. SJ channel has been giving up many more of fish.

Thanks for the info.  Getting a late start and I wanted to try my new Yakima Rack on my Prius with my Pro Angler.  Going to hit Ballard to give it a try.
