Awwww shucks, I love you too Zee!  .......I credit any success that day to Deepcolor for the timely libation and generously provided sandshrimp.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't include a link to the Willamette Sturgeon Fishing article in their 'Tips and Tactics' section.  http://www.kayakanglermag.com/features/tips-and-tactics/71-snag-more-winter-sturgeon.html

Thanks again Next Adventure and Crew!!!!

Thanks....but....anyone can go around handing out bait and giving old man river a sip.  Just like anyone can pass the ball to Michael Jordan.  You're the one with mad skilz.  Well done my friend.  And thanks to Michael Rischer for the great article.

You guys, are all my heroes for making this a successful tourney.
Jammer great article.  I know prior to moving out here I though the NW was all about salmon.  With articles like yours, people around the nation will know there are other big fish out here and crazy fisherman in plastic boats chasing them.

Thanks for pointing it out. Mark, your story predates my tenure as web editor. There are treasures on the site I've yet to discover. I've linked it, minus the typo in the by-line.

Bryce can tell you, I read my email and I try to respond within a week (unless I'm in the field). If you have news or story ideas you'd like to pitch, please fire away. We always need excellent photos too.

Everything that ends up in the magazine is paid work. The web is admittedly different. For Tournament Wire and Fish Friday, we rely on contributions such as Michael's. Speaking of Fish Friday, Kayak Angler's recurring how-to-catch-em online feature, we welcome submissions from kayak pros and local hot sticks. You can find me at [email protected].
