Great fish! I'm hoping to sneak away from work early this week and get down there!

I think I will get a chance to get out tomorrow looking for Springers. I am thinking of going on the Willamette or the Multnomah Channel but am not experienced enough yet to know where the best spots might be. Any suggestion from you more experienced kayak fishermen?  Also should I still be using plug cut herring or switching to spinners? Thanks, Dave

Either would be good.  I think clarity is probably better on the Willamette.
Water's still cold so herring are probably the best bet.  Doesn't mean you can't catch fish on kwikfish, prawn spinners, tomman spinners or mag worts.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
