I plan on hitting the Willy around sunup tomorrow for a day of Springer fishing and you are all welcome to join me. (I'll PM you the location)  Don't worry if you are new to springer fishing I will happily show you the ropes.  I have a few spinners and some bait to spare but I recommend taking a look at Jammer's article about prawn spinners and tying some up as they have been the hot bait.  I can't promise anything, but hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures of other folks with fish.

You didn't miss much.  I landed one native and missed a second fish while talking to a guy about the sea lion 20 ft away.  It is the first time I have ever been glad to miss a strike.  I also found schools of what I think are salmon smolts.  At first I thought they were small trout, but a kid on the bank caught one and it really looked like a small salmon.  Fishing was slow for everyone I saw.  The only boat that had multiple fish was a guide with 6 rods who was using prawn spinners, but with sand shrimp not cured prawns.
