Saturday June 4th Next Adventure is hosting its first Demo Day, aka Summer Splash.  There will be kayak demos as well as some clinics.  The event will run from 10-6 at the Sellwood Riverfront Park.

Should be a pretty fun day!  If anyone is interested in demo'ing Hobies, this is your chance to have them already at the water, ready for you to jump in and pedal away.  Jammer and myself will be there to answer questions.  We'll both have our boats on hand if you'd like to get ideas for rigging.

Damn Rawkfish you beat me to it.    Don't forget there are going to be a  lot of other manufacturers out there besides Hobie so if you want to try an Ocean Kayak, Emotion or even a sea kayak there will be plenty there.   

Next Adventure is hosting the 1st Annual "Summer Splash" paddle sports on water demo day at Sellwood Park. The event kicks off Sat June 4th from 10Am - 6PM. If you know anyone that has been thinking about getting into our awesome sport of kayak fishing, this is a great place to send them. In addition to a huge fleet of the latest and greatest kayaks and equipment for demo, we are also putting on a number of different kayak clinics throughout the day. Okay, I merged all the "Next Adventure Demo Day / Summer Splash" announcements.  Now it's just a bit awkward to read through, but all the info is there in one thread.. repeated several times.

Looks like a good time.  All we need is the summer part.

It would be awesome if we could have a good showing from NWKA.  If you don't have anything planned that day, come on down, bring yer boat and hang out.  There's some good bass fishing right in that area too!  We could count this as our June PDX crew meet-up.

I'm going to be there helping out at the Ocean Kayak booth.   Hopefully I can get away for some mid-day bass action.

I was thinking of coming without a boat because I wanted to check out a couple of the inflatables if the had them, but I like your  idea about the June meet-up and bass action.  I will try to be there and will have a boat or two with me.
