Made it up to Silver Lake again today.  I noticed it has been exactly 1 month since my last visit.   Not sure why that is but I promise there is no weird mojo behind it.

I ended up missing three good strikes and landing two fish.  Only one was worth photographin.

Some pictures of the event:

Sorry for the blurry picture of me.  I'm still working on how to take photos of myself.  I put the camera on top of my fishfinder with a velcro attachment and then set it to delay 10 seconds.  The problem is when I set it up it focuses on what is in front of it which is probably my chest as I'm leaning forward to place it.  Any suggestions on taking your own picture?

Nice looking bass!!!  How much longer you think you have before the bite shuts down for the winter?

Ya know I have absolutely no idea.  This is my first year fishing the lake.  Based on some reviews I've read people are wondering when the algae bloom will calm down and the lake will clear up a bit.  I'm not sure if people fish it year round or not.  Actually I guess it could freeze.  I know they are big on the crappie early spring when it is still pretty cold.

I'll be sure to let you know as I plan to continue fishing it.
