Being semi-bicoastal has its advantages. One is deeply discounted clearance items that are more of a premium on the other side of the country. To wit: Hodgeman Steamlite Breathable waders with neoprene feet for $22 bucks!!!

Academy Sports is a southern big box sporting goods store that does not ship (Think Dick's). When they finish a season, they blow out whatever is left. Best waders on the planet? Probably not. But I would have paid as much as $100 for them with a blink.

I bought a pair when they were $25 and I thought I was stealing. Went back last night and they were $22. I bought a spare pair. There were (2) XXL's and a L on display when I left. A USPS flat-rate priority box they'd fit in is ~$11, total would be about $33 plus two dollars for a beer. It may be a tad less if I can ship it for less.  Let me know and I'll buy them and I'll send them to you.

Hook me up Wali!  Size Large.

I really like my Frog Toggs but you can't beat a backup set for $35!

I called both stores. No large. (2) XXL, (2) med, (2) XL available

Here's them on the Hodgeman page

http://www.hodgman.com/Lakestreamreg-Lite-Breathable-Stockingfoot-Wader-P1972C60.aspx

They seem pretty functional to me,  but they have crap reviews on the hodgman page. They are built a lot like my Dan Bailey's but the material is not quite as heavy. I've used mine twice, once from o'dark 30  till noon, and again from 7pm to 2 am. I stayed dry fishing and walking in knee deep water and they were not tooooooo swelteringly hot during the day (I leave my feet in the water).
Still interested? Lemme know.

I am looking for a pair myself.  I need something to go with the dry top I won in the raffle at the Willy Dino Tourney.  Tried to get the Frogg Toggs at Fisherman's when they were $59, but they sold out really fast.  They had a pair of women's extra large that I considered buying, but the pride got in the way.  The salesman told me they would probably fit but my friends would make fun of me. :(

No they didn't.  I think the sale ended last weekend, as well.
