I am coming down to Portland this weekend. Only time I really have free will be Friday evening after we roll into town.
Would love to meet up with a few guys and have a brew or two.
I will be staying in NW Portland but up for venturing out.
Let me now.

Sounds great, but there really isn't anywhere in Portland to get a decent beer.  ;)

I'll try to make myself free to join you.  What time do you think you'll be heading out for a beer?

Damn ... do you know any place that serves top self brews like PBR or Miller Highlife, it is the champagne of beers...
We will probably roll into town around 9 or so, anytime after that would work.

After 9 is good for me... the kids should be in bed by then.

Regarding beer... I think we have 40 breweries/brew pubs and another half dozen or so beer bars with 20-50 taps each.   We also have our share of hipster infested PBR bars.

I live in SE so I'm not at all familiar with the NE.   Hopefully someone else will have some ideas.

I know you said you won't have free time, but Next Adventure is putting on a paddle festival here in Portland on Saturday and at least four or five of us will be working it and I'm sure a few more will be stopping in.   Then again, you'll see plenty of us at the Oregon Rockfish Classic in a few weeks.

I am coming down to help my Mom with some big 12 person dinner she is putting on so I will be spending most of my weekend in the kitchen. I may try and slip out for an hour. Would be nice to get out.

I may be able to get away for a beer or two as well.  Other than WR and Squidgirl, I don't believe I have met any of our Salish Sea brethren.

Wish I could, I've got a final tonight. :'(  Guess that means I should probably not be farting around on the internet, huh?  :D

I am glad that the internet was in its infancy when I was in college.  I never would have made it through.

As for beers tonight, I may be able to make it.  My wife has a girls thing going on right now, but I think she will be back by 9:00.  Where do you plan on going?  Or, maybe I should ask, where are you staying so we can figure out what is most convenient for you?
