Hobuck or Westport Sat 6/4?

I'm itching to get to the coast. Surf forecast looks decent. I've never been to either locations, so would like some company. Anyone wants to hit Hobuck or Westport?

Hobuck and Westport are very very far apart on the coast.

Westport is probably the closest and simplest option if you want to get out there. I'm actually headed there tomorrow. Saturdays forecast looks pretty good.

I'd be wiling to come along with at Westport

Hobuck is my home away from home during the summer. I unfortunately will not be headed out there this weekend. Family is dragging me down to Portland .... with out a Kayak.
I have been at Hobuck the last three weekends and last weekend was the only iffy day for surf conditions. Getting out is usually not too bad and if you land on the north end of the bay you can usually squeak in without too much trouble. Trying to land between the surfers makes things a bit more sporting!

If the swell is up just drive around the cape and launch out of the marina. It is very protected just a longer paddle out to good fishing. Try east of the Marina near the rocky structure or on the west side of the break water. Just be very mindful of wind and current. You can catch a 2-3 mph current pretty easy if you are not paying attention.
