2nd annual Sunset Bay AOTD tourny

Roy - put me down for a possible maybe.  This has been on my radar since last year.  Sunset Bay is such a sweet ocean launch it's hard to turn down.  I may hold off committing until I see a surf / weather report, it's a long way from home, but trust me it's on my mind.

Mazama Fishing Pro Shop also donated some swimbaits, tee shirt & fishing line.  Said they might do more next year.

I'll throw in a few of those knife jigs.

Thanks to Mazama for there gift. That's pretty cool even though there wasn't time to get them on the flyer.

This year has been pretty crazy so lagging on the whole thing...

For those that are coming. We do plan to have a potluck fish fry after the tourny at Sunset Bay. Just bring whatever you want


we have the fryer, oil and tartar sauce takien care of.

I'll make sure to thank Dave (Mazama's) for there gift when I'm getting some more bait.  I'm donating 2 folding crab pots and kids pole.

Roy, go ahead and put me down as for sure coming.  It has looked like glass out there the past couple of days and it looks like it will be that way all week.  If the bite is on I may go back out Sunday morning as well.  Let me know if I need to bring anything for the potluck.  I will probably be over in Coos Bay this Thur or Fri to get a haircut and can drop some dry firewood off (Plenty of it) at your house for the tourney.  Let me know

It is fun, we have a good time. would be good to see some more people show up next year

The list is growing a bit..Last year 9 people logged fish. I think we will have at least that many maybe 1 or 2 more..

On my way today. Hope the maybe's can make it. After I _{(try to)} catch a big perch & greenling, I'm gonna head for deeper water & try AMB's jig. Added a tailhook to those Big Hammers. gonna try them also.
