Nice Nookie! I can't wait until there are salmon in the our local rivers. Should be some showing up in another month.

Ndog, I have tried to catch salmon this year on spinners but so far have not had a single bite on them. All of my fish have been taken on plug cut herring. I would like to have them biting on spinners as they are much easier to deal with but so far only herring are bringing fish to my boat. Water temps are now hitting 65 degrees by mid day. As I understand it, this is when salmon will begin to prefer spinners. I will probably shift to spinners soon but it would help my enthusiasm allot if I could just get a fish to bite on one once!
