Fished for Kings this Morn, had the best fish of my life on for about 20 seconds, never had a fish take line like that before, broke my 25lb leader.  Was Trolling along a kelp bed just before slack tide when he hit.  Pretty disappointed :(  Was using a Deep six,  Flasher and a Coho Killer, Have hooked Salmon nearly every time I've used this set up.  They seem to like the Army Green color and the black and white silvery color.  Did bring a couple of ling Cod to the boat and a Greenling, yes the hit the Coho Killer.

We, (Wife and Kids) will be hanging out near the mouth of the Seiku tomorrow, Sat.  If anybody is up for the fun.  Salmon on the east side and Bottom fish on the west side.

Good Fishing All!

Dang!  SOrry you lost it!  Hate when that happens, I;ve gone to 50# leaders for my spoons and hoochies, after losing  the Beast of the Bay in Willapa Bay last fall.  It broke 30# leader, the locals at the marina said 40# is minimum for ocean-fresh kings.
Never underestimate the ability of our policymakers to fail to devise and implement intelligent policy
