surprised when my bps newsletter showed this morning with this steal. sure it's discontinued according to humminbird , but this is a good unit and a great price.
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

Thanks for the heads up Demonick...I just ordered one to replace my 20 year old Humminbird LCR400 ID.
I was considering another Humminbird model, but for the price and features this is a super deal/steal. :banjo:

The transducer puts out 4000 watts (peak to peak) for very brief pings, so it is not at all continuous.  The manual lists 650 mA as the current draw.  Theoretically a 7 Ah battery would run it for about 10 hours.

I installed my new Humminbird 768 combo in my Hobie Outback....used the standard transducer mounted just forward of the sail mast tube.
Boy does this thing work great!
The display for sonar and GPS is excellent......also shoot through the hull is no problem.
I went to Lost Lake this morning.....fishing was slow but the scenery was stellar. :banjo:
