Mackerel in Wa??

Does anyone know if/where there's mackerel in Puget Sound? I didn't know they liked cold water so much but when in BC there were masses of them. Would be a fun day fishing w/ the wife. She loves the catching part and hates the fishing part.

Occasionally we see them up here, usually along the coast or the west end of the Straits. Not something you can count on, though.

Night time fishery off any of the docks in the Puget Sound.  Closest one to you Z is the Edmonds fishing dock.
