On the round part of the rudder at the rear of the kayak what needs to be done in regard to lubrication. Could not find any info. Seems there should be something recommended. What is everyone else doing. Thanks

I use a little bit silicone dry-spray lubricant on all moving parts of the Hobie including the rudder. Its inert, non-greasy, slick and doesn't attract grit the way grease does. Just my $0.02

I use dry silicone spray also. And i back the 9/16th inch nut offf just a touch if the operation feels too tight
