What to do….
I was fishing today on my tarpon 140 and Deluxeharley was out on his Outback and all I could hear for the shore was my wife yelling you need to get 2 of those!
A)   Should I just do what she said and buy 2 Outback?
B)   Should I tell her that they cost twice as much as my Tarpon and wait for her mouth to close?
C)   Should I buy one outback and one Revolution?

Don't blame me. :-)

I think you should keep your Tarpon, but change your name to "maytag"
Bryan get what is safe for you, that is what is important. Ask Nate about the seat. Can't imagine there's not a fix for your question you have. Maybe you need some more seat time. Dale

Well if she is yellin get 2 I would not ask or say anything I would just go get em. It is easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. :occasion14:

I'd say if you are considering option C then go with option D two Adventure Islands.  ;D

You should get 2 boats but before you buy, you should demo them to make sure you get the boats that are best for each of you.  Next Adventure has a demo Outback, Revo 13 and new Revo 11 to try.

Get 2 Revos----I bought a revo, my wife pedaled it, and she went out and got a revo from Craigslist!!!

I just got my outback a bit more than a week ago and I really love it. I demoed the revo and the outback through Next Adventure and for me I preferred the stability of the outback. To be clear I am new to kayaking and I do not have experience in balancing in these types of crafts. If you have been kayaking for a while this is probably not important.

However, in fishing the Willamette on Sunday the water was crazy busy and choppy/wavy by noon. I did not need to pay attention to the wakes while fishing. At one point, the outback even started "surfing" along a wave. This felt kind of freaky but the stability of the outback was more than adequate.

As a general comment, when your wife says you can spend money do it before she changes your mind :)

Are you serious???  Get'em while the getting is good. I picked up an outback this year and I've already got my money's worth. I had more fun than ever, and the gas savings from using a power boat has already paid for the outback.

Thanks for all of the advise.  Yes Dale I do blame you!
Ndogg I will stop by and pick up the demos some time in the future. I have to help out the father in-law on his building his deck this weekend.
