Guys thanks for coming out today and making the first Next Adventure Bass Yakkin Classic a success.  I am sorry about the rain, next tournament I will do my best to make it sunny.  Jeff, Rawkfish, caught the biggest fish, a monster 20.75 inch Smallmouth.   Second went to Brian, Bsteves with a 16.75 inch smallmouth.  Newcomer, Tony, came in third with a nice 16 inch smallie.
I also need to thank our sponsors, who provided enough swag that everyone went home with a prize; Dave Grigg, for the rods, Dry case for the dry cases, Stohlquist and Astral for the PFDs, Neosport for the wet suit stuff that didn't quite get there in time (it will be at the Sturgeon Tournament), Fisherman's Marine for the lures and Mike Olson, who made the awesome trophies.  I need to give a special thanks to Next Adventure and the new PSC manager Jake, for letting me put on a tournament, providing the beer, food, a lot of swag and in general supporting the local kayak fishing community.
I almost forgot to thank Jammer for getting Fisherman's onboard, and the Nothing for being the grill master.

I hope you all had a fun time and I look forward to seeing you at the next tournament.

Buen Trabajo Jeff!

It's funny, your fish and the one on the trophy look about the same size. Wish I could have got back to town to join in the fun.

Congrats also to Brian and Tony!

Great to see the results.   Congratulations to the winners.
Hopefully some day I get back into Kayak fishing, for now.  Gotta focus on Life.

A big thanks to ndogg for putting everything together!

I really lucked out yesterday.  It was a nice morning to be on the water aside from the rain, but even that wasn't too bad.  There was a good morning bite but it was almost gone by 10am.  Great company on the water too!

Nat and Next Adventure crew thanks for putting on a great event those that were not able to participate really miss a top drawer event. I was fortunite enough to have the day off and had 3rd if only for a second. Curse you Craig and Tony. Just kidding. I learned quite a few lessons on my first ever time out on my Outback and my first tourney and my first trip bass fishing. You guy in the Kayak fishing comunity rock, what a great bunch of guys. I cant wait till the next time out on the water and the next tournament. Jeff that's a great pic of you with that hog you should blow it up and hang it on the wall, over your bed right next to your trophy ;D.

That fish is freakin huge! Next to eobasser's smb caught on the willy last year, Jeff's has to be the 2nd largest I've ever seen a pic of that's been caught on the willy using a kayak. Thanks again to Nate, NA and Isaac(The Nothing) for cooking up the tasty hot dogs and burgers.

I really appreciate all the wonderful advice I received from Jammer, Craig and others to get me started on hooking bass.  It is really nice to hit the water and have someone take time out of their day (example: Jammer/Craig) to come up and say, "Hey good to see ya, want a beer?" and then show you how to properly fish.  It meant a lot and plan to always show the same courtesy to others.

I had a great time and thanks to all the hard work from the staff at Next Adventure as well on the event.  Oh ya! love the new Level Six jacket I lucked out on getting in the raffle.  The food and company was Tier 1.  Looking forward to hanging out more and working on getting that high speed new kayak asap.    Later brothers!   Tony

Tony, I'm still crying over that 1/4 inch. ;D  Just kidding.  Glad we could help and congrats again.

I would also like to thank Nate and the other Next Adventure staff for a great event and thanks again for cooking up the food Isaac.  And Jammer, thanks for the good leg workout on that 9.85 mile peddle.  It was a good time even though the weather was a little damp.  Always a pleasure hanging with you guys.

I am sorry I did not get to participate, but I had too many family events going on. I did get to stop by briefly at Next Adventure on my way from one family thing to another, nominally to pick up my turbo fins, but also to see who won. It looked like everyone was having a great time! Congratulations on catching some nice fish! Also congratulations to Next Adventure and ndogg for putting together such a fantastic event!

Rawkfish when smallmouth get that big it is not really fair to call them a "small" mouth :)

Thanks Nate et al!  You guys put on another great tournament.  Taylor and I both had an awesome time yesterday.

As for the winners.....  Nice fish all!  But what a hog Jeff landed.  Definitely worthy of 1st plance.
