Any recommendations out there for a pair of polarized sunglasses for a fat face?  I'm in the market to replace a pair.  I've heard Costa's are good.  Best to try them on first I realize.

If you can find a dealer, Kaenon makes awesome glasses. I've got a big ol' melon, and their Klay model is supa comfortable on my big head. Not cheap, but lifetime warranty and they are sooooo nice, cut through the glare on the water better than any other glasses I've ever worn.

I'm also a big fan of the Klay, and the Lewi too.  And I have a big melon as well.  They come on sale on The Clymb every now and then for like 1/2 off.  I use both the darker grey lenses and the yellow lenses depending on weather conditions.

Check out the Wiley X line. If they hold up to Military, and LE they will hold up for me! Lifetime warranty on lenses and frames. There polarized lenses with the climate control cut down on all the ambient light off your forehead and cheeks, which results in better polarization. Mine are way better then ne  others I've seen, and light years above my wife's Ray Bands!

I've been using the same style glasses for over 4 years now.  They are Berkley fishing glasses that you get at Walmart. lol   They are only like $10-$15.  I get a new pair every 6 months or so and I never have to worry about losing them into the water.

I wear an XL or XXL helmet so I'm guessing that qualifies me as a fat head.

I wear polarized Smith Super Methods, 300+ days a year.  Love them.

Brownish tint works great for most freshwater applications (I like grey on the salt).  Photochromatic lenses extend the time window you can wear them at dawn and dusk.

I was browsing the Kaenon's web site, almost pulled the trigger on the clearance shades.  there are 2 styles they are selling on the affordable end.   I'm going to give the Berkleys a try before venturing into something I can't afford to drop.    great topic.

I went to WalMart and tried on all the ones they had, from the cheap  $5 to their 19.99 ones.
I came out with the $5 one to test, and I like it.

Columbia makes polarize shades for $29.99.  @BiMart

For all it's worth, I have been enlighten with polarize shades.
I will save $$ for a really nice pair in the near future.

If you need built-in generic readers, check out Ono Trading.  They do prescription sunglasses too.  http://www.onos.com/

One tip for tweaking sunglasses is to heat the center nose area with a hair dryer and gently bend the plastic. I generally go with the cheaper polorized glasses from big 5 that you can get for about 30 bucks. I really like the pair of hi-tech ones I have now as they have rubber on the nose and ends, which makes them stick to your head/hat well when you're looking down into the water. They're not the nicest pair but I'd prefer to not have to worry about losing them.

Thanks for all the feedback.  I should have noted that I don't have a problem with sunglasses fitting my fat head, just looking right on my fat head.  I pulled the trigger on a pair of Kaenon Klays online that were a good deal at $132.  Definitely more than I've shelled out for polarized glasses.  Should be receiving them today.

Opting for Klay surely is the best choice for choosing polarized flat heads....

Looks like spam, sounds like spam, smells like spam ...

Let me know if you need an invite for theclymb.com and I'll send you one.

Thanks Allen.  I should have waited.  Paid $130 a couple of weeks ago.  Bummer.  I signed up a few weeks ago with The Clymb.
