I am a long time angler and power boater making the switch to kayak fishing and just wanted to thank you guys for providing such a great resource. I fished the Sound and Duwamish this summer out of a SINK and have recently purchased a WS Ride 135 decked out for fishing. Anyways, thanks for the info on gear, rigging, techniques and TEH fishing reports, it's been a lot of help. Looking forward to getting out on the water and catching more fish!

Welcome to the NWKA Forum from down south (Vancouver). Always good to see another member of the community and just because you were a power boater, doesn't make you all bad...at least not now that you've converted.  ;D

Welcome!

This was my first real year Kayak fishing.  I discovered this forum and it's been virtually EVERY weekend and every vacation day since!

I have a 16 ft skiff with a 30Hp, and a 21 ft center console with a 150hp.  Didn't start either of them up this year.  I think I better sell them before the neglect and non use destroys them.

And the best part...I caught as many fish as I ever have.  AND I lost 35 pounds!!!!!
