Is there any interest in having a Westside kayak fishing clinic this Fall/Winter?
I have a space available in Hillsboro.  I can't promise pizza or beer but I can taylor the clinic to participants needs.

Anyone?

Ha. I've sure I'll be down to learn a bit more. I'll even bring some beer!

I could assist with the beer provisions.  I may forget my net salmon fishing, but I don't think I have ever forgotten beer (when it was safe enough to drink it).   ;D

I live in Vancouver, but as long as there's a time and a place, with a lil advance notice, I'm down. Full agreement with firebunker and can never get enough knowledge and/or information....Thanks Spot.

Two questions for y'all.

1) Is there anything specific that you guys would like to spend focused time on?  (Gear, Techniques, Fisheries)
2) Is there a day (evening) of the week that just doesn't work for any of you?

Fair Warning:  I plan on talking a bit about general safety regardless of the rest of the content.

Thanks for doing this Spot! I would certainly be interested in a session focusing on ocean fishing (rockfish, ling, etc) or springer fishing. I have not done either from a kayak and I am interested expanding my kayak experiences.

For me Tuesdays or Fridays work the best for the next month or so.

I too, am interested in the Hillsboro clinic.  I grew up in Hill town and my parents still live there.  Tell me what to bring, Pizza, beer or whatever?

1-Maybe you could do an overview of Salmon, Sturgeon, Bass, and rockfish fishing. As these seem like the most popular. With each maybe you could then go over set ups, techniques, anchor set up, where and when to fish.
2-Nope, anytime is fine with me.

Let me know if you want me to bring any gear as examples.
