So, the little spray bottle that came with my darling ran out (okay, I wiped down the Mini-X first, she'll forgive me). Is Armor All (with the UV protectant) okay to use? I only ask because I have a bunch of it (I think my wife was trying to tell me something about the lack of shine in my vehicle) and am looking to use if it's okay with kayaks. I know a lot of yakkers here use that stuff that they use on the Space Shuttle but I want to use what I have before going that route.

Thanks again for the advice.

I've found that fish slime has a bit more UV protectant than blood. I hear 303's good but I'm curious what others use (besides the blood, of course).

:laughing4: Too damned funny!! I bought a quart of 303 but have yet to use it. I was told and read, not to use Armor All on yaks but don't recall why. ??? Do a search within the forum as I also remember that's been discussed previously.

Don't use Armor All on anything but your worst enemy's shoe soles and motorcycle tread.
Over time it actually drys out plastics and makes them brittle.  They appear fine until you stop using the product, then they fade quick in the sun.
