Still available.

Now that Christmas is over, the list of desirable trades is down to a fishfinder/GPS, and a VHF.  Or a drysuit.  Cash one direction or the other depending the item offered in trade.

Sumpnz,   In your photo's it looks like there has been some lite sanding on some of the finish.  Was this due to surface rust?  Or is it just wear and tear or is it simply just a lighting reflection?   I have one heck of a time keeping surface rust off of mine.   :-[
PROGRESS IS JUST BEING THERE!

The wear looks to be honest holster wear from regular use. Surface is easy to manage but can get out of hand if you don't. Simply wiping down after use or carry with a good protectant ... like MPro7
If you are wanting to carry every day and have a problem w/ rust a hard finish like hard chrome or one of the Teflon finishes are pretty awesome.
Good luck on the sale. Those Rugers are solid build guns! If yours was a 9mm I would have bought it in a flash. I would suggest listing on Seattleguns.net too. I have had some good luck selling there.

The finish is partly worn due to a crappy Kydex holster I had for it at one point (might still have it).  I don't know if it was the Kydex itself that wore the finish or if it was the dust/sand that likely got into the holster from my time in Arizona.  Unfortunately I didn't even carry it all that many times.  The slide itself is aluminum, so no rust.  A few years back I looked into refinishing it.  You can send just the slide to a refinisher and get it redone for maybe $50-75 (don't quote me on that price, it's from memory).

The rest of the gun is as good as can be.  I didn't shoot that gun near as much as I would have liked.  It's quite accurate, especially with 165gr ammo.  Only times it failed to fire or feed was when I was had some poor quality ammo that no gun would have done any better with.  Got rid of that ammo and didn't buy any more from that source.

Price drop to $325.

Found out SWMBO is going to take the kids to Portland for the MLK weekend.  So, if I can get a dry suit before then I can go fishing!  Kayak Academy down in Issaquah has some closeout prices on the 2010 model year Super Nova Angler suits that I'd like to take advantage of.

FWIW I also have a bunch of fire wood (NOT dry) that I'm selling.  Mostly maple and alder with a little birch too that is already split.  There's also some fir that needs to be bucked and split.  $125/cord for the split wood.  $100/cord for bucked but not split wood.  If you also buy the gun delivery of up to a 1/2 cord (as far south as Marysville, north to Bellingham, west to Anacortes, east to Concrete, or to wherever we meet for the gun transfer if we split the driving distance) is free.  If you just buy the wood, delivery is $15 for a 1/2 cord up to 20 miles one way from my house, $.40/mile thereafter (round trip milage).
