Fishes for AOTY 2012?

I love watching the ATOY every year. I haven't been brave enough to fish the salt due to the fact I'm a broke student that cant afford all the safety gear. I was wondering if there would ever be a separate freshwater/saltwater division. Participants would pay the original fee for the tournament but would also pay a separate fee to be included into the freshwater or saltwater Division. This fee could pay for plaques for the top three finishers and whatever is left could go towards prizes for the overall winners. I just realized that it may be hard to divide salmon but I wanted to throw some new ideas out there.

  Take a look at the 20 species of fish that are eligible to enter the AOTY .Of those ,13 can be caught in freshwater.
  Odds of having seperate fresh/salt divisions for AOTY are pretty slim in my eyes.Good luck in your pursuits.
